The McLaren MP4/4 is without a doubt one of the greatest racing cars ever to have been produced. Driven by Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost the duo won 15 out of 16 races in 1988 and conceivably could have won all 16 if it wasnt for a slip up at the Italian Grand Prix from Senna. Whilst comfortably leading he tripped over Jean-Louis Schlessler robbing the 4/4 of a clean sweep on the races in that season. Prost had 2 pole positions, won 7 races and finished 2nd a further 7 times on his way to runner up in the World Championship.

This front windscreen was used on one of Prosts cars in that famous season and comes with a letter of authenticity from his mechanic Neil Trundle as having Prost specific history. This screen is in a specification used by the Frenchman which is slightly longer.
