Russell Brockbank was perhaps the most famous motoring cartoonist throughout the 1950s, 60s and 70s with his work published in magazines such as The Motor and Punch and in his own books of which he released over a dozen.

His cartoons usually produced with pen and ink were characterised by a high degree of detail and he would go to great lengths to ensure the accuracy of his work.

These fiv examples are a wonderful mix of his work and are signed either Brockbank or RB and have stampings to the rear when they have been published.
