Pedro Diniz was always branded as a pay driver, albeit he was far from this, and maintained a career spanning six seasons, famously racing alongside reigning World Champion Damon Hill at Arrows for the 1997 season during which he outqualified Damon in Belgium and Japan - two of the most technically challenging circuits on the calendar. Following his racing career a brief stint of team ownership alongside Alain Prost at Prost Grand Prix.
