Philippe is the son of Jo Siffert, who died on the 24 October 1971 at Brands Hatch when Philippe was just nine months old. Philippe Siffert started in Formula Ford before graduating to the GM Lotus series. He then went to the USA and raced in the Skip Barber Dodge series. Siffert jr has also raced at Le Mans, the Renault Sport Clio Trophy and other saloon and sports car races.

This Arai GP3 Phillipe helmet dates from 1995 and was painted by Marty Designs of Switzerland, during this time Phillipe raced the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans.
