Jacques Villeneuve, the son of the late Gilles emulated his father by entering Formula One in 1996, later winning the Formula One World Championship in the 1997 season. Jacques previously won the Indy 500 and 1995 PPG Indy Car World Series in 1995. A rare breed of driver who was able to combine success in single seater racing both sides of the Atlantic.

This Bell KF1 helmet used by Jacques bears a flag indicating use during the weekend of Monaco 2003 is painted by Bell Helmets and numbered 2003-6. Bearing a few of Jacques trademark helmet adjustments including protective pad to the rear and additional padding around the top of the visor area, it shows goods signs of use and retains the full radio intercom wiring. Signed on the visor by Jacques it comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Jacques himself. This helmet was also used in 2005 testing for the Sauber team hence sponsors have been changed since being used with BAR.
