Giancarlo Fisichella raced in Formula One for 231 races, racing for Minardi, Jordan, Benetton, Sauber, Renault, Force India, and finally securing his dream of finishing his career with Ferrari. Paired with Fernando Alonso at Renault, whilst not being able to gain the upper hand on Fernando he won two Grand Prix with the team including his first race with the team at the 2005 Australian Grand Prix.
This Arai GP5 helmet used by Giancarlo during the weekend of the Canadian Grand Prix is signed on the visor and the rear of the helmet and dated 'Canada 2004'. Painted by Carsten Meurer / MRC Designs it comes with a letter of authenticity and is numbered 3.04. The helmet is one of the last race helmets before the mandatory use of carbon fibre shells introduced at the French Grand Prix in 2004.
